Meet Joy Bingham
Joy Bingham joined the LEAF Committee as both a committee member and Trustee in 2016. She brings a fresh angle to the Prayer life of the Local Evangelical Alliance in the New Forest and has taken on the role of LEAF Prayer Coordinator.
Joy is the church leader at the River of Life Church Tiptoe. She has always been a great supporter of LEAF and in June 2016 hosted a team of Korean pilgrims of prayer, who came to the New Forest to pray for revival!
Joy was born in Birkenhead, Cheshire; but grew up in Cornwall. She has loved the Lord since she was a child and has a keen heart for the body of Christ to fulfil its calling. Her early commitment took her to Newcastle University where she gained an Honours degree in Theology, English and Spanish.
She worked for many years in NHS administration in the Wessex area and latterly for the Care Quality Commission in Hampshire. She calls herself a 'Jack (or Jill) of all trades but master of none!'
In her spare time she enjoys the New Forest, walking with the dogs, lots of sea air and her very ample garden. She is married to Tony who she calls her best friend!
