Welcome to the LEAF Website
I’d like to personally welcome you to the website of the Local Evangelical Alliance in the Forest (LEAF). We are a fellowship of evangelical Christians based in the New Forest in Southern England, affiliated with the Evangelical Alliance (UK). Our members comprise individuals and churches in the New Forest region sharing a common vision – to see our region transformed through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Unity lies at the heart of our mission statement, and a vital part of our role is to encourage Christians from different church traditions to unite together in prayer, worship and mission to see our area touched by God’s power. FOREST FIRE (formerly New Forest Bible Weekend) is an annual event designed to equip Christians for life. Forest Fire was launched in May 2007 and catered for the whole family - including a family fun afternoon. See the FOREST FIRE page for further details. The 2008 event is planned for 9th - 10th May.

Links with LEAF churches:The LEAF Churches page provides contact information for each LEAF member church, and a link to each church’s website where applicable. Other Links: Churches Counselling Together (New Forest) CCT (NF) is Christian counselling ministry closely associated with LEAF which offers a safe, secure, confidential counselling service from a Christian perspective. The group comprises Christian Counsellors from various churches all of whom have been professionally trained. Counselling appointments may be arranged at the premises of various churches in the New Forest area. A prayer ministry which aims to provide a prayer resource for the whole of the New Forest area, as well as providing a wider focus of prayer for the nations.
